I understand you are a Baptist church. What does that look like?
We are part of an emerging Baptist movement that affirms historic Baptist values such as the right and responsibility of every person to have a face-to-face relationship with God and be involved in ministry, the reliability and authority of the Bible, the church’s freedom to choose how it will function, and the separation of church and state. As a result of these values, we are a church where people and ideas are treated with respect no matter how we differ, a church that reaches across denomination lines to form partnerships for ministry, and a church dedicated to cultivating a lifelong transformational relationship with God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Please visit our “Identity, Mission, Vision” page in order to gain a better understanding of what we believe.
